¿Qué necesito a permit to visit Teide National Park?

No permit is needed to enter the national park or ride the cable car to 3,555 metres. However, a free permit is required to hike the final trail to the 3,718-metre summit. This guided tour visits the park's main viewpoints and does not require a summit permit.

How cold does it get at Teide?

Temperatures at the cable car base station (2,356 m) are typically 15–20°C cooler than the coast. In winter, it can drop below freezing at altitude. Bring a warm jacket, long trousers, and closed shoes.
